OBDOGS

IDPA at Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol Club

Home Page
OBDOGS (Old Bridge Defense Oriented Gun Sport) holds monthly IDPA matches at the Old Bridge Rifle and Pistol club every second Sunday, every month weather permitting.

In the sport of defensive pistol shooting we use practical equipment with full power ammunition to solve simulated "real world" self-defense situations.

We normally run 8 stages. New shooters are required to attend a safety briefing starting around 9:30am. Registration opens at 10:00am, shooting starts at 10:30am.

You'll need: A "Defensive handgun" with a minimum caliber of 9mm/.38 Special, a strong side belt holster, mag pouches to hold two spare mags, preferably four mags (minimum three), a cover garment, eye and ear protection, approx. 200 rounds of ammo.
